Hand Therapy: Certified Hand Therapy

An Occupational or Physical therapist can achieve advanced certification as a certified hand therapist (CHT). To receive the CHT credential, a therapist must practice for a minimum of 3 years, accumulating 4,000 hours of hand and upper extremity therapy practice. Certified hand therapists must pass a rigorous certification examination that demonstrates their competency in the practice.

Traumatic Injuries

Our hand specialists are experts at treating traumatic injuries of the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow. As true hand traumatologists, we treat catastrophic injuries including amputations needing microvascular replantation.
